We're tired of it, too. That’s why Carol started paying for the post a few years back - and why she raised her prices to $ 75 + last fall. And that's why we update our list of paying sites regularly.

Below is a new, updated version of the 2021 list of Make a Living Writing websites that pays at least $ 50 per post.

Instead of linking to a list we published last fall, we are posting a new and new list. We've added new markets we've learned about in the last 6 months and removed sites with post categories that are less than $ 50. That's our minimum.

In some cases, these sites end up in Q.T. directly the payers. We enter markets where freelance writers on our network report that they pay more than $ 50, in order to bring you the largest variety of paid markets.

We also removed sites that do not currently accept forums, which resulted in a good portion of sites that focus on writing. Sites where you have the opportunity to earn $ 50 per spec, either based on traffic or click-through ads, are not included. This is a list of markets that offer only guaranteed earnings!

The list covers a wide range of topics, from kinship and liberty to business and writing, so there should be something here for everyone.

1. B. Michelle Pippin pays $ 50- $ 150 for business-related topics.

2. The Coaching Training Blog is looking for articles about training - business, health, occupation, and more. Pay per share.

3. Copyhackers pay $ 325 for articles about copying, branding, running a business, and more. Read the shipping guidelines carefully to set the tone.

4. The CEO of the Hangout will pay $ 50 if you plan ahead with the editor - send a voice and discuss the payment before writing the article. They run posts about the CEO’s lifestyle, success stories, interviews, and other reported aspects of interest to business leaders.

5. DailyWorth pays $ 150 for articles on women and money. They wrote a blackhole editorial @ email list, but I recently wrote to them on how to set up an alarm, and they suggested hitting the lead editor, Koa Beck.

6. The Credit Doctor pays $ 50 for financial articles focused on debt.

7. eCommerce Insider pays $ 60- $ 150 for articles about online resale.

8. FreelanceMom pays $ 75- $ 100 for posts about running a business as a busy parent.

9. FreshBooks (yup, the freelancer payment site we recommend) charges $ 200 per post and up. Be prepared to negotiate for a better rating.

10. Acorn has a new online company called Grow Magazine that pays $ 50 + for financial transactions over a billion years. They have no guidelines posted, but tell me to send it to grow@acorns.com with the word STORY in your title line. We rarely recommend those regular emails, but because the publishing area is still new, it may not be a big black hole yet.

11. IncomeDiary pays $ 50- $ 200 for articles about making money online, including SEO, related sales, and traffic.

12. Mirasee pays $ 200 for 1,000-2,000 postings on marketing, business production, and growth topics. [NOTE: Currently Mirasee only pays for the posts they post. Unsolicited posts are not paid.]

13. The modern farmer reportedly pays about $ 150 for articles.

14. Penny Hoarder shares ideas for saving money. You will need to negotiate payment with the editors during the cast process - and be willing to sacrifice the link back to your site.

15. Priceonomics pays $ 1,000 for 2,000 word articles in data and economics. Catch? Documents should be submitted with spec. From time to time they submit requests for articles on specific topics, which may bring you closer to that great paycheck. 33. Just Parents is a UK site that focuses on pregnancy and child rearing. They pay $ 60 per post.

34. Parent.co sends non-terrifying articles about parent and family issues. Payment starts at $ 50.

35. A father seeks parental advice and humorous experiences with children from a father's point of view. Pay per share.

36. The Pig Guide focuses on pregnancy and the upbringing of newborns and toddlers. They pay $ 50 + per post.

37. Well Family (New York Times parenting blog) pays $ 100. Add editor.

Health

38. The Anxiety Foundation pays $ 50 for mental health records.

39. The online Atlantic health department reportedly pays $ 200.

40. PsychCentral covers mental health. They do not subscribe to the payment site on their site, and they did not respond to my question about payment, but a reader on last year's list reported that they are a paid market. [UPDATE 12/2016: The website says it does not pay, but it is different when you discuss payment before installing.]

41. BBC Britain does not publish their earnings rating, but I have seen reports of $ 350- $ 1,000 on various BBC sites. Combine news with a British slant for international audiences.

43.BookBrowse pays for book reviews! Authors who have been approved for their review will receive $ 50 for a 600-word review.

44. The Adoption family accepts forums in all aspects of the adoption process. Pay per share.

62.Smithsonian Magazine Online reportedly pays established freelancers up to $ 600 for reported articles.

63. The tablet pays for articles on Jewish affairs, Jewish ideas and traditions. Pay varies, so be prepared to negotiate. I saw a $ 1,000 report with the most reported 2,000+ word feature.

64. TwoPlusTwo Magazine pays $ 200 for an original post about poker. They post articles for six months, after which the rights are returned to the author, so you can sell copyright or post them on your blog.

75. SlickWP pays $ 100 for WordPress posts and Genesis Theme framework.

76. Tuts + pays $ 100 and up for tutorials on a variety of technologies, including Web design and Flash. Tuts once ran a network of 16 different blogs, including a Freelance switch, but it's all integrated into one site now that includes construction, games, photography, writing, and more.

77. WordCandy pays 6-10 cents the name of the pieces written ghost by WordPress - this will appear on other major WordPress blogs, such as wpmudev.

82. Expatics working for U.S. immigrants This is another site where you will need to negotiate a fee before writing your article.

83. Teach Your Life Overseas Paying $ 75 for articles on business ideas that provide enough money for U.S. communities.

84. The International Wine Accessories blog pays $ 50 and up for articles.

85. Saveur starts at $ 150 for "amazing news about food and travel."

86. Salt (NPR food blog) reportedly pays $ 200 +.

Writing

87. ClearVoice is a platform for connecting bloggers and products to various niches, as well as posting to its blog. Payment varies but ranges up to $ 250- $ 400 (from what we have seen so far). When you apply, you set the prices you are willing to accept; then, the platform sends you an email when appropriate opportunities arise. It's not a bidding place - the bills are pre-set. But gigs are presented by many writers, and the client decides who to work with. Fortunately, there is no comprehensive application process, once your profile is set - simply reply that you are interested, and they will let you know if you win the gig.

88. You pay about 35 cents a word for their independent online magazine. Download their throw guides here.

89. Freedom of writing pays $ 50 + on the list of paid publishers. They also pay for short ebooks, so there is a long form of content option, too.

90. Write About Livelihood. Well, this blog here pays $ 75- $ 100 per guest post, depending on the difficulty and research required. Make sure you read our guidelines carefully, especially our list of topics we are actively looking for in guest posts right now. Combining one of those will greatly enhance your challenges!

Successful throwing tips

Before installing any of these sites, read the guidelines carefully and read the posts they have started. Make sure you have a new topic or a new way to diagnose a problem that they have previously submitted.

Paid markets are more competitive than posting on free sites. And when a site finds very bad parks, it will look like they will re-accept it even if they accept guest posts, let alone pay for them. (Believe me, this is possible, and that is why some of the sites we have previously listed do not accept forums.)
